Our Training Services

In addition to our range of product design services we also love to pass on our expertise to other engineers. We provide a very bespoke training service aimed at helping engineers aquire new skills or providing expert guidance in the initial stages of new projects that require you or your team to learn new skills. For a fixed daily cost you can have exclusive access to our one of our senior design engineers who specialise in digital electronic design and expert assembler and C programming of the Microchip PIC range of 8, 16 and 32 bit embedded microcontroller's.

We don't provide formal classroom style training, with a fixed agenda of topics to be taught in a watch and listen style. Instead we provide hands on training around your individual needs. This can be you watching and learning from us, or alternatively you carrying out the work you need to achieve by following our step by step guidance. This personal approach means that you can typically progress very quickly and ensure you fully understand all aspects of what you need to learn, without wasting time learning topics that are not relevant to you. As you have exclusive access to an expert engineer for the day you are also free to tap them for as much information as you can with any questions relating to what you want to learn or the project you are working on.

What you get out of our training is basically down to you. We promise to provide you with fast paced tuition and guidance to suit your needs and we will work as fast as you are able to take it in. If you need to learn a new topic, say for instance C programming of a PIC microcontroller, this is a great way to get up and running with creating a first project accomplishing a task you need that you can then move forward from, without wasting time banging your head against a brick wall trying to learn the basics under your own steam.

There's bound to be things that crop up after your time with us so each day of training also includes up to an hour of phone or email support for a period of up to 3 months after the training day.

Who Do We Train?

We provide training to anyone, from students wanting to get started on the road high level microcontroller programming, to companies wanting to fast track their engineers through the initial stages of a new project or technology field.

The pace of change in technology fields has become incredible in recent times, with the barrier to entry for many fields becoming higher and higher. Whilst this can seem daunting, many technologies and fields of expertise can still be grasped and learnt without requiring full time education, once you find a way to get past the initial hurdles and gain confidence that what your doing is the correct approach. Our training is aimed at providing exactly this help by engineers who love technology and love to enthuse others with new technology and knowledge.

The Details

We are able to provide training at our office for between 1 and 3 people at a time. On site training is also available. We are located on the Surrey / Kent border south of London, 5 minutes from Junction 6 of the M25 and around 30 minutes by direct train from central London. Conflict Of Interests?

Some clients can be concerned that we might view training as a conflict of interest with our main company service. If you or your team need to learn a field that we may be able to help you with as a design company we don't view helping you as any real loss to us. If you've got this far down the page you are presumably already an engineer or someone who will be an engineer and your going to learn what you need to reach your goal. We'd rather help you accomplish this and at the same time have the opportunity to impress you in case one day a project comes up that you consider using our main company services to help you with.
